Why is Nokian eNTYRE on my my family’s sedan?
It’s not so much the new Polished Tread Grooves that improve snow traction, or the ”Acoustic “Dimples” that reduce road noise. It wasn’t for for the 3-D Sipes or the “cooling fins” on the sidewall……I chose the the Nokian eNTYRE because it’s made with earth-friendly oils like Canola, which are sustainable and won’t damage the environment’s groundwater. Nokian has completely eliminated the use of High Aromatic (HA) oils in their production.
On our 2007 Mercedes E320 a-4-Matic we now get 25.5 mpg, almost 1 mpg more than the Continental tires it came with.
The eNTYRE is a leader and part of a new generation of GREEN tires that save you money, and I agree with Jesse at Driven Daily….it’s not like you’re buying a Camry Hybrid to help fuel economy, it’s just a tire.
